More and more people are into alternative lung cancer treatments and alternative cancer treatments in general. People know very well that conventional medicine alone is not very effective and exploring other options is very useful. There of course are a lot of alternatives to current cancer treatments, some of them are very effective, some less effective. Sassafras tea is one of those treatments, that proven to be very good for the body, over hundreds of years.

The Sassafras tea, like the name suggests, is made up of the young roots of Sassafras abdidum. Sassafras trees can grow 15-35 meters tall and have a diameter 70-150 cm. The wood is light, hard and sometimes brittle. The bark of the mature trunk is thick, red-brown, and deeply furrowed. The Sassafras has been very popular amongst the natives of America and it is often called the purifier of the blood. It is still used to treat many illnesses such as skin diseases, rheumatism, typhus, syphilis etc.

There is significant evidence that safrole, in modest doses, can stimulate the conversion of other carcinogens to non-carcinogenic metabolites, meaning it is an anticarcinogen. A study even shows that it can induces apoptosis in human lung cancer cells.

The Sassafras tea is one of many alternative treatments that can be used along with conventional treatments, to make treating cancer safer and more effective. The more people know about alternative medicine the more effectively it can be used. Of course before using the Sassafras tea, people should know about the risks that are involved and learn as much as possible about it.

Cancer is a very serious and dangerous diseases and all the billions of dollars that have been spent for the “War against cancer” have not produced any positive results. In the last few decades cancer has become a more serous problem, despite all the money and time that is spent on cancer treatments. So it is natural that people should be active themselves and look for alternative medicine for lung cancer and other diseases.

The internet is available for everyone all over the world and each person can and should do their own research into alternative medicine. If you have cancer or if someone you know has cancer, then neglecting alternative treatments and medicine is a very big mistake.

For example according to the Alexander Ferenczi, the MD of Cosma, Hungary beetroot contains a cancer inhibiting substance agent, betacyanin, a potent cancer fighter. Beets also contain betaine, which is not very common and found in few foods. Betaine is important for reducing heart disease risk, detoxifying homocysteine and of course is involved in the metabolic pathways involved in fighting cancer.

Dr. Alexander Ferenczi reported of a man diagnosed with lung tumor. 6 weeks after the beginning of the beetroot treatment, the tumor had gone away, the man gained 10 kilos and the mature red blood cell sediment rate was drastically reduced.

So beetroot is something that people, who have been affected with cancer, should certainly learn more about. The great thing about most alternative medicine for cancer, is that they are safe, cheap and very effective.

Why is everyone so hung up on the term “cure?” You can almost see them visibly cringe whenever the word cure is even mentioned. What’s the deal? If you can locate a substance, that when applied to treat your lung cancer, completely takes your lung cancer away, isn’t that a cure? Hasn’t your lung cancer in fact, been cured? If it was there in your body, and now it isn’t in your body…isn’t that what cure means?

Of course, it’s conventional medicine and all things mainstream that are so paranoid about using the word cure. And that is because any treatments they can offer are just that, treatments. They are not designed or intended to cure anything. Look at it this way. Drug companies control conventional cancer treatment. They’re also huge corporations with shareholders. And as such, are required to legally do all they can to provide value to their shareholders in the form of increased profits. Now, if the treatments they provided actually cured your lung cancer and everyone else’s cancer…how would they be able to stay in business? The answer is, they wouldn’t. You’d receive your cure and they’d never hear from you again.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to their bottom line to just ‘treat’ the cancer? Wouldn’t it make more sense to just keep it at bay for years and years and years? Let’s face it, if you’re really interested in learning how to find a cure for lung cancer, chemotherapy and radiation and surgery ain’t gonna cut it. Does that mean a cure for lung cancer doesn’t exist? No, it means there is no money in the alternatives.

Luckily, there are hundreds of non-toxic, gentle treatments for lung cancer that will actually take it away for good. That will restore your body to a balance where cancer simply cannot survive. If you think of lung cancer as more of a symptom than a disease, you’ll be that much closer to eradicating it. This can be one of those life changing moments you always hear about. Because if you really want to know how to find a cure for lung cancer, all you have to do is take action.

lung cancer treatment

Many workers in the field of construction and other industries were exposed to asbestos in their jobs. While they fear the prospect of getting Mesothelioma, the cancer caused by asbestos, the do themselves no favors by continuing to smoke.

The lungs are amazing body parts. They gases that we need to live into the body and then remove waste gases created by the process. That being said, they are fairly delicate and more than a few of us have done serious damage to them. I should qualify this by saying that I was the proverbial chain smoker for seven years. I’m not one of those righteous former smokers, but there is little doubt the practice does a number on your lungs.

No cancer is a preferable health problem, but lung cancer is really one you want to avoid. For millions of workers over the years, the possibility of their being diagnosed with lung cancer went up dramatically for no fault of their own. The problem? Exposure to asbestos. The fibrous form of various minerals was used heavily in everything from construction to the rail road industry and even on the brakes of most cars. The material was incredibly strong and very fire resistant, which made it a wonder material of sorts until it was determined to cause lung cancer among other health horrors.

The word asbestos is mostly reviled these days. People simply know to avoid it. The problem, unfortunately, is the disease can take 40 years or more to manifest as lung cancer, Mesothelioma or some other problem. That being said, simply breathing in asbestos fibers does not mean you will get lung cancer. Current studies seem to suggest there is about a 1 in 7 chance, although the figures change dramatically depending on how much exposure you had.

Smoking is bad for the lungs all by itself. Smoking combined with asbestos exposure is pretty much a double whammy on the lungs. The smoking weakens and decays the lungs. This gives the asbestos fibers more of a chance to borrow into the lung tissue and work their way into the chest cavity. The chances of being diagnosed with lung cancer is twice as great if you smoke and are exposed to lung cancer as it is if you just are exposed.

The good news is stopping smoking can make a huge difference. Those who stop put aside the coffin nails have their chance of being diagnosed with lung cancer drop a whopping 50 percent in only five years even when asbestos exposure occurs. If you have never been exposed to asbestos, the risk is reduced by 70 percent! In short, it is worth it if you want to live a long life.

Your longs are critical to your health. Don’t sabotage them by smoking after you’ve been exposed to asbestos. After all, you only have one set of lungs. When they are used up, so are you.

The bad news is that smoking increases your risk of developing lung cancer. And I can tell you that 90% of lung cancer deaths in men and 80% of lung cancer deaths in women are linked with smoking. And lung cancer is not the only cancer related to smoking. Strong links have been shown between smoking and cancer of the mouth, the larynx, the esophagus, the bladder, the stomach and the kidneys. But cancer was the first disease that was linked to smoking, and it is the leading cause of cancer related deaths in the United States.

Here are some statistics to consider:

Men who are smokers are 23 times more likely to get cancer than men who do not smoke.

Women who are smokers are 13 times more likely to develop lung cancer than women who do not smoke.

You do not decrease the risk of catching lung cancer by smoking low tar, low nicotine or ‘light’ cigarettes.

Did you know that there are over 4000 chemicals in cigarette smoke? At least 60 of these are known carcinogens.

Carcinogens damage the DNA in cells that controls their growth. One of the characteristics of malignant cancer cells is unrestrained growth and replication of cells.

30% of cancer deaths annually is directly attributed to cigarette smoking.

87% of lung cancer deaths is caused by cigarette smoking.

Secondhand smoke accounts for about 5% of all newly diagnosed cases of lung cancer.

Secondhand smoke, or passive smoking causes about 3000 lung cancer deaths in each and every year.

If you quit smoking before the age of 35 you can reduce your risk of developing lung cancer by as much as 90%.

Even quitting smoking before you reach 50 will substantially reduce your risk of developing cancer.

It is known that 7 of 8 people who contracted lung cancer will not be alive five years after their diagnosis.

The more you smoke, the more you increase your risk of actually developing lung cancer.

Lung cancer is decreasing in the United States as the number of smokers have decreased.

People try to tell you, that it is not proven that cigarette smoking actually causes lung cancer. This is true to some extent. For example, you may have a genetic predisposition to getting cancer. Not everything is known why some people develop cancer and others do not. Some people can smoke for years and do not get it, and some people get it who never smoked at all. But there is one thing you can be sure of, smoking will increase your risk of developing lung cancer. And if you do stop smoking, you will decrease your risk of developing lung cancer over time.
