Major Conventional Cancer Treatment
Just the mention of cancer sends a chill down our spine. The victims are fairly evenly divided. It strikes men, women, and children. When it comes to talking about complete cure with cancer treatment, we have no choice but to accept the known fact that there is no fail-proof or definitive cancer treatment for most types of cancer.
There are a lot of research has been on going in this field of cancer treatment to improve the cancer treatment techniques. Basically there are four major conventional cancer treatments:
Cancer Treatment – Chemotherapy
Normally, chemotherapy is the first choice among cancer treatment options for treating many cancers as it is a systemic treatment. This means that the drugs travel throughout the body to reach cancer cells wherever they may have spread.
Cancer Treatment – Surgery
Surgery, the oldest form of cancer treatment, is used in cancer treatment either to remove only the tumor, or the entire organ. Cancer surgery is differs from chemotherapy as surgery act only in a specific area such as the breast, lung, or colon, and so are considered local treatments. Hence, it offers the greatest chance for cure of cancers that have not spread to other parts of the body.
Cancer Treatment – Radiation therapy
Radiation therapy is the use of ionizing radiation; either external beam radiotherapy or brachytherapy; to get rid of the malignant cells or shrink tumors and prevent their growth. Likewise cancer surgery, this radiation therapy also acts in specific area and consider as local treatment.
Cancer Treatment – Hormone Therapy
Hormone therapy is used to keep cancer cells from getting the hormones they need to grow. This cancer treatment may include the use of drugs that change the way hormones work, or surgery to remove the ovaries that make female hormones, or the testicles, which produce male hormones.

Dr. Ernest Cohn, MD: "This book is by far the most complete and accurate review of alternative therapies I’ve seen in the 30+ years of my practice. I recommend our patients read this book now before we accept them for care here. It can save a patient’s life."
Dr.Pavel Yakovlev, MD: "The material in this book is enriching and hope-giving for clinical practice. I like the way you finish your book, with a notion of spiritual cancer, which is very important to remember when dealing with the patient."
Dr. Rashid Buttar: "I plan on recommending it to all my patients suffering from cancer who seek treatment at our clinic so that the light of truth and hope contained within this book can shine brightly on them as well."
